These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Cosmochi, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Cosmochi,” “we,” or “us”), which operates the Cosmochi app and cosmochi.app.
The Service
Cosmochi provides astrological forecasts combining Chinese Bazi and Western Astrology. The service is available in free and paid tiers.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You may add profiles for other people, including children, with their permission or that of a parent or guardian.
Entertainment Disclaimer
All forecasts, charts, bond reports, and AI-generated content are for entertainment and self-reflection purposes only. They do not constitute professional advice of any kind: medical, financial, legal, or otherwise. Please make important life decisions based on qualified professional guidance, not astrological readings.
AI-Generated Readings
Forecasts, chart readings, bond reports, and Ask replies are generated by AI. To produce them, Cosmochi sends your birth details and the chart derived from them to Anthropic, PBC, solely for that purpose. Anthropic does not use this data to train its models. A reading is guidance for reflection, not advice; see the Entertainment Disclaimer above.
Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate birth data for chart calculations to work correctly. One account per person.
Subscriptions
Luminary is an auto-renewable subscription, billed monthly or annually, at the plan you choose. The price and billing period are shown at the time of purchase and charged to your Apple ID (iOS) or your card (web). The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions, or in the web billing portal. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods; refunds for iOS purchases are handled by Apple.
Deleting your account cancels a subscription bought on cosmochi.app right away, with no refund for the rest of the period. An App Store subscription keeps billing until you cancel it in iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
Acceptable Use
Do not misuse the service. This includes:
- Automated scraping or bulk API access
- Reselling AI-generated content as your own
- Creating accounts for others without their consent
- Attempting to circumvent tier restrictions
Intellectual Property
The Cosmochi name, logo, and original content are owned by Cosmochi, Inc. The astrological calculation engines use open astronomical data and traditional methods in the public domain.
Limitation of Liability
Cosmochi is provided “as is.” We do our best to keep the service accurate and available, but we make no guarantees. We are not liable for decisions made based on forecasts or AI-generated content.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you live in a country whose consumer protection laws give you rights that cannot be waived by contract, nothing in these terms takes those rights away.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
