What We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and the birth data you provide (date, time, and location of birth). We use this information to generate your astrological forecasts and charts, to run your account, and to share with the service providers listed below, only for the purposes described there.

How We Use Your Data

  • Generate personalized forecasts, charts, and bond reports
  • Maintain your account and saved profiles
  • Send transactional emails (password resets, account notifications)
  • Understand how the service is used (product analytics tied to your account; see Third-party services below)

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (hosted on AWS) and Vercel. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS) and at rest.

We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

Third-party services

We rely on a small number of service providers to run Cosmochi. Each receives only what it needs for the purpose described:

  • Anthropic — your birth data and chart context are sent to generate personalized readings. In the iOS app this happens only after you turn on the AI consent switch; on the web it happens once you save a profile. Anthropic does not use this data to train its models.
  • Apple / RevenueCat — purchase history and subscription status, tied to an app user id that is your account id, so we can unlock what you paid for.
  • Sentry — crash diagnostics with your user id, so we can find and fix errors.
  • PostHog — product analytics with your user id, so we can understand how the app is used.
  • Resend — your email address, to deliver transactional email such as password resets.
  • Stripe — payment details for web billing only; card numbers never reach our servers.
  • Geoapify — the birthplace text you type, to look up its coordinates and timezone.
  • Supabase and Vercel — hosting for our database and application.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and storing your theme/language preferences. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your Rights

You can view, edit, or delete your profile data at any time from the Profile tab. To delete your account entirely, open the Profile tab in the iOS app and tap Delete account at the bottom of the screen, below Sign out — this permanently removes your account and all associated data.
